One day a troubled outcast,
Whom everybody knew,
Devised a plan, bought a gun,
To do what he must do.
He claimed the voices told him,

“Parent’s Broken Heart”
“Kill everyone you can,”
He took their words quite serious,
And carried out his plan.

He massacred his classmates,
And teachers who stood strong,
He bought his weapon legally,

We work real hard at this one,
Avoiding talk of death,
We act like it won’t happen,
Until our final breath.

“Bottomless Bank”

She looks at me warmly,
With her sweet baby blues,
And I hand her some cash,
And she buys some new shoes.

I look like her dad,
But I feel kind of blank,
As I hand her more money,
I’m becoming her bank.

I’m her ATM Dad,
I’m her angel investor,
I’m her blank kind of check,
